Gig Harbor Summer Art Festival Is This Weekend!

It’s been a busy summer for me, but I want to make sure all my friends get a chance to come visit my booth, no matter where they live in the Puget Sound area! This weekend I’ll be in Gig Harbor at their annual Gig Harbor Summer Art Festival!

More than 125 Artists will be showing and selling their work. We’ll also have children’s art-making activities, food vendors, live music and a Literary Corner featuring authors and book-illustrators.

For this show I’ll be in Booth #46, across the street from Il Lucano Ristorante and West Marine. As always, I’ll be showing my latest images, including my newest stunning presentation style with my images printed directly on sheets of aluminum.

The Gig Harbor Peninsula has long been a magnet for artists and writers. Deep forests and shorelines rich with wildlife – coupled with breathtaking views of Mount Rainier and an historic fishing village atmosphere – offer an endless, ever-changing source of inspiration.

In 2012 & 2013 the Gig Harbor Summer Art Festival was voted Best Festival in the Region by readers of South Sound Magazine.

Proceeds from the Art Festival provide art scholarships for local students and Peninsula Art League members. Proceeds are also shared with the Gig Harbor community and out-of-town visitors through our art shows, workshops and programs.
