Happy New Year!

The year is almost over, so I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family and friends a most wonderful 2016!

And, to get you in the mood, here are a couple of images of the Seattle Space Needle from the fireworks show this past year. These images were taken from Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill.

And finally a reminder about safety. Fireworks are certainly fun to watch, but they’re not so much fun when they seriously injure you. Take some advice from my late father, who in his day treated many serious eye injuries caused by fireworks, and leave the fireworks shows to the experts.
