Meet Santa at Timber Creek Starting This Weekend!

This isn’t just for kids, either! Bring your kids, your pets, and yourself and get your family portrait taken with Santa while helping the Homeward Pet Adoption Center with their mission!

Every year beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving, Santa shows up to pose with you and your family in his real sleigh at The Christmas Shop at Timber Creek! This is my first year as photographer for the event, but people tell me that coming out to Timber Creek for pictures with Santa has been a tradition in their families for years!

Some folks like the traditional photos of Santa with their children, as in the image shown on the sample card below. But many others love to bring their well-behaved pets for a photo-op with Santa. I hear people have brought dogs, cats, and even a marmot! (Just use the special pet’s entrance to avoid having to squeeze through the store with Rover. And please, no skunks unless they’re, um, de-skunked!) Or bring the whole family and pose behind Santa and his sleigh. (No, mom, you can’t sit on his lap!)

A $5 donation to non-profit Homeward Pet Adoption Center gets you a free high-resolution JPEG image that you are free to use as you like. And to make things simple for you, I’ll be offering high-quality greeting cards and prints of your favorite pose starting at $10. You simply choose the pose you like best right there on the spot and in about a week to 10 days your order will be ready, either mailed to you or available for pick-up at the store.

Note that if you are planning to mail greeting cards to your friends and family, you probably don’t want to wait until the last weekend to come in for your shoot. By the time the greeting cards are printed, mailed to you, and mailed again to your recipients, well, let’s just say you’re better off coming in as soon as you can!

Homeward Pet Adoption Center is a leading non‑profit, no‑kill animal shelter based in Woodinville. Their mission is to give homeless animals a second chance through rescue, shelter, and adoption. Homeward Pet finds new homes for over 1600 cats and dogs, puppies and kittens every year. They are dedicated to providing excellent care to their animals, and great service to their two-legged visitors.

The Christmas Shop at Timber Creek is located on the grounds of the Timber Creek Western Lifestyle Shop on SR 202 between Redmond and Fall City. The store is located in historic log cabins on a small ranch property outside Redmond, Washington. The store offers a huge selection of the finest quality Western and Lodge items in addition to a wide assortment of gifts and decorations in their Christmas Shop.

The shop is just east of the intersection with NE Ames Lake Road, on the south side of SR 202. Look for the small parking lot with a teepee out front!
