Believe it or not, another year has gone by, and it’s time again for the…wait for it…2nd Annual Rogue Christmas BeerZaar at the Issaquah Brewhouse! This is your opportunity to come out and have a pint or two while shopping for great Christmas gifts hand crafted by local artists and craftsmen-persons. (I put in that “hand crafted” bit because it gets beer drinkers excited – or at least that’s what beer advertisers think.) Try walking around with a beer next time you’re at your local shopping mall and see how far you get!
Now I know what you’re thinking. “I live in New Orleans or New Jersey or Hellissandur on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in western Iceland – what do I care about what’s going on in Issaquah???”. (Ever notice how many villages in Iceland start with “Hell…”?) And I have to admit you have a point. But look at it this way: Folks at the Brewhouse next Monday, while they may be enjoying a pint while shopping, are only seeing a small subset of my images. You, in the comfort of your own home in Fairbanks, Fargo, or Philadelphia, while enjoying whatever you, um, want to enjoy, can browse my entire image collection on my website while choosing appropriate Fine Art Photographic Prints for gifts for all of your closest friends!
But, but, don’t do that if you live here! Come out next Monday, December 9th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and see cool Christmas cards, nature prints, jewelery, tree ornaments, and maybe even some baked goodies! We had an amazing turnout last year and hope to do even better this year! And don’t tell me you have something better to do. It’s on a Monday after work – I know better. And the MNF game? The Cowboys vs. the Bears. Whatever.
For those of you who just joined my newsletter mailing list and are thinking, “What a bunch of sales spam!”, I apologize. I’ll get back to the adventure stories next week – that should be enough time to make something up!
So what are Seattle locals doing next Monday after work? That’s right, the BeerZaar at the Issaquah Brewhouse! Sorry, no cheap NFL jerseys from China will be available. (I should probably hide this post from search engines after that remark. Yikes.)
See you Monday night!
I’ll see you there, Ed!
Excellent!
Sounds fun, looking forward to viewing your new work!
